‘Smart’ trainers for wide feet with high arches/plantar fasciitis

I’ve been told off by a podiatrist about my lovely leather pumps. He says I need properly laced-up running shoes. My pumps work very well as ‘dressy’ trainers with for example boyfriend jeans, spotted silk blouse and long open coat/cardigan or leather jacket.

What on earth am I going to wear?! Any ideas of makes and models to try on much appreciated Flowers

I am also sadly chunky of ankle, so have to be careful with the shape and height of trainers around the top.

RIP lovely leather pumps, sob sob 😭

Sketchers d'lites are my go to. And they're deep enough to fit orthotics if thats what you have too

I was coming on to say the same.

I also swear by the Fit Flops ballet pumps.

Just looked at the Rally, they look good on the photos of just the shoe but look a bit ‘deep’ in the height when worn?? Or is this just a bad shot I’ve found on google?

Do you mean the sole? For me, it adds to the comfort. I have 2 pairs and I'm having another pair for Christmas
