Hello

I have spent a year using up all the odds and ends of lotions that I’d accumulated and been gifted.

I’m getting to the end of the following products and would like recommendations (please) I’m currently using mostly body shop and am in my 20s :
Light Face day cream with SPF
Night face cream
Eye cream (very dark circles )

Thanks x

Aldi Lacura is good for dry skin, its quite rich

FlemishHorse · 08/10/2021 22:50

Aldi’s Lacura Q10 moisturisers are excellent. Why pay more?

windmill26 · 08/10/2021 22:59

Yep,another one for Lacura.

You need a separate spf and it should really be spf50.
Maybe add a vit C serum.

Another vote for Aldi - very good products at a bargain price! 😁
There seem to be a lot of products available online now, and some seem to be online only. My local Aldi had lots of things in last week, including serums and this eye cream. So far it seems great, and my eye area looks hydrated and smooth. I have dark circles and I can’t see much difference there, but for the price this is an excellent buy.

Collection concealer works well to hide the shadows - another bargain buy!

Should say, think it’s the double pack of eye cream that’s online only…single eye creams are in store.

100% you need a sunblock. I use drugstore cleansers, acids, retinols, moisturisers & sunblocks. As long as the moisturiser has glycerin as the moisturising agent I’m happy.

I use an expensive spritz-on toner from dermalogica, dermalogica face mask.

I don’t use eye cream as it’s easy to use too much and go puffy. I dab a tiny amount of retinol on instead. My dark shadows started at 4 so I don’t think a creams going to help now.

If I had dry skin I’d focus on the moisturiser and spend my money on that. Try samples of dermalogica off eBay, they’ve had the same core range of cleansers & moisturisers for 20 years to my knowledge which tells you a lot of women repeat purchase them.

I've tried the Aldi ones and wanted to love them but didn't. They smelled really cheap in some way?

My go-to brand for the past few years has been Eucerin. This one morning and night. It is also an excellent base for makeup

La roche posay cicaplast baume b5 with spf will work for all 3 requirements! I use their redermic retinol at night now, but used to use the baume and felt happy with it.
