here

I want some moderately high heeled black boots that fit wide calves.

I want them for everyday so no higher than 2.5 inches.

do you know of any other nice ones?

Boots for fat birds who want to look even bigger, they are, tiny.

moondog · 07/12/2007 19:46

Noooooo Ggirls.
They are dull as hell!

Maidamess · 07/12/2007 19:46

Yes, they are nice classic boots. I like.

moondog · 07/12/2007 19:46

Wtf is going on with Bologna??

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 07/12/2007 19:47

ggirls, they are crap heels, will break your neck in them.

Maidamess · 07/12/2007 19:47

They've got built in spats.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 19:48

these

getting confused now

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 07/12/2007 19:48

Hmm, i like those for everyday wear.
I like this shape for a bit dressier.

Maidamess · 07/12/2007 19:49

Like the heel. Go with what you like! Don't listen to us harpies.

moondog · 07/12/2007 19:49

Noooo Ggirl!

Have a lie down.

You have a bad case of shit boot-itis.

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 07/12/2007 19:49

I still think the 'pirate' boots are best.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 19:50

FFS

I am really crap at footwear.

CloudAtlas · 07/12/2007 19:51

ggirls doesn't sound like she necessarily wants something that's the height of fash, but something nice that she feels comfortable in, I'm off, I don't 'understand' boots like this, but I defend your right to want them! be gentle with her!

moondog · 07/12/2007 19:51

Ggirl,you are playing too safe.
Live a little!

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 19:54

I still have to be able to walk in them though.

If they're too high I just won't wear them .

OP posts:
moondog · 07/12/2007 19:55

I'd go for high wedges.
Bit more stylish but still comfy.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 19:57

what about high heeled ankle boots

think I may be too old at 45 ?

OP posts:
Maidamess · 07/12/2007 19:58

Ankle boots are hard to pull off (not literally) with a skirt . Knee length are better for trews or skirts, I think.

moondog · 07/12/2007 19:59

No not too old.

I rather like these

I think they are quite wide as they were flappy round my calves and I am no waif.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 19:59

yes I think they need skinny calves

OP posts:
pantoinghousewife · 07/12/2007 20:00

Ankle boots with skirts are 'orrible, don't do it. Even skinny minnies look ridiculous in them.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 20:01

pantoing-I think they look nice, but then again I am farkin clueless

OP posts:
TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 07/12/2007 20:01

defnitiely not too old.
But I really like some wedgeheeled boots at the minute.
Let me watch eastenders and I'll get back to you.

ggirlsbells · 07/12/2007 20:02

moondog-I like those, need wide calf though
