Good conditioner for curly/frizzy hair?

Can anyone recommend one please that will actually make my hair feel at least somewhat soft and smooth? I currently use Dove nourishing oil light for dull/dry hair but I can only get it in my local Tesco's and now they don't seem to have it!! After washing my hair and towel drying it feels very dry and cardboardy, the conditioner really makes it feel quite soft but it looks like I'm going to have to find another brand, Dove keep doing this, so annoying!! (I straighten my hair as much as I can to try to keep it in check).

Savers and b&m usually have it

I'm just wondering if the rubbing with a towel is making it more frizzy? I realise it takes longer, so I try and do my hair in the evening, when I can shove it in a towelling turban to blot the hair, then after a few mins swop it for a dryer one. My hair is like yours.

I use John Frieda Dream Curls or I get ridiculous frizz, and I never rub with a towel - just leave it on until my hair is no long sopping / dripping down my back.

Leave in conditioner? Frizz ease one works for me. And no brushing or touching at all as ordered by my hairdresser although she has permitted a very wide toothed comb.

Don't rub it with a towel that definitely increases the frizz. John Frieda dream curls is ok, I like the little oval shaped bottles they do in Tesco all different colours, I can't remember the name. It's about £7 a bottle so I wait until it's on offer and stock up. The blue/turquoise bottle is argan oil and makes my hair really soft.

I use an old pure cotton t-shirt to pat dry, not a towel, and have always used kerastase conditioner, I think the green range (forgot it's name).

I don't mind my frizz these days and wear my hair natural, just dry in a twist that I pin up (like rope, not a bun) and let it tumble down hours later.
I don't like curly girl, it isn't me at all, and makes my hair greasy and limp, but my curls always fall out to waves after a few hours anyway, and I actually prefer to comb/brush, so frizz is my life!

I tone the frizz down with a small almond sized bit of leave in conditioner at the ends only, and after a few hours the frizz just tames down and looks fine.

Kerastase is the best! Nutritive shampoo and masque magistral, I have thick and long unruly hair. Try to space out washes (I’m once every 4/5 days) always shampoo twice and leave mask on for at least 10 mins if not longer, always use heat protection and blow dry ( my hair was never shiny when air dried) Honestly this routine had completely changed my hair for the better!

Thanks for the replies, I'll check some of these ideas out.
