It is years since I have worn a dress, and need a dress for the ocassion.
Ceremony in a auditorium, small family lunch in a posh restaurant.
Scotland late October so likley to be cold and wet, so no bare arms. I would like something not too figure hugging or low cut ( size 12/14 big boobs)- I am not keen on florals or ditsy -help!

Roughly what length?
Remember a dress isn’t essential, you could wear trousers.

Jumpingintosummer knee to mid calf maybe? I would quite like to wear a dress- I wear trousers every day. I wwould like to wear boots- I don't want heels- can't walk in them!

What about something in cord, like this?

The Wallis dress is far nicer in the flesh, a friend wore it in burgundy for dinner on Saturday night with black tights, boots and a long woollen coat. It was blowing a gale!

I personally think the Boden cord is too casual for a graduation but everyone has different expectations.

The wallis jersey wrap dress looks good- there seems to be a lot there that I like- thanks.

Excellent. Let us know how you get on.

We are mid UCAS prep with eldest DD, it feels like yesterday I registered her for nursery school.

I totally relate to that. Hard to believe that my little one who followed me around like glue as a toddler is a fully grown woman with her first proper professional job!

I am sure she is thriving, you should be really proud. Hope you are off somewhere lovely to celebrate with a large glass of something!
