Microfibre towel/wrap? Worth it for frizzy hair?

I’m really making an effort to tackle my terrible frizz with products etc and it’s helping. I’ve stopped blow drying and straightening (badly!!) which is also a revelation and am just letting my hair dry naturally (it dries very wavy/loose curls which I like)

I’ve heard microfibre towels are way better for frizz prone hair than regular towel, though obviously I never rub with a towel, I just gently press. Is microfibre worth trying? Any decent recommendations if so?

I love my microfiber towels but more so because they wash and dry so quickly, I don't think they make a massive difference to my hair tbh. Most curl routines just recommended using a t-shirt as a towel.

I do the curly hair method and use an old cotton, long sleeved tshirt. It does help cut down on the frizz, although I have super thick hair and it takes an age to dry. I've started washing my hair at the weekends and air drying when it looks like shit, then by the next day/evening it looks much better, and with wearing a satin bonnet to bed I can make do till the next weekend and do the same!

I too use an old t shirt. .

I have curly/frizz prone hair, and though I have tried the curly girl t shirt method, I just use a mostly cotton turbie wrap thing, no rubbing, then change for a dry one when it gets quite wet. Haven't personally found the t shirt any better, and it was more of a faff.

My DD uses cheap t shirts from primark. She gets the men's basic cotton ones.

It's my toddler who has the curly hair, so we use a muslin as a towel and just wrap it around her hair whilst it's drying. Sleeping in a satin or silk bonnet may make more difference if you're struggling with frizz.

I have several of the microfibre wraps from decathlon which are cheap and so easy and convenient to use. I started using them alongside starting the curly girl method so don't know which or both worked but my very very frizzy hair is so much better now.
I got the wrap because I could be doing with the hassle of the T-shirt method
