Can you wear them if you are a pear shape? I am inspired by my friend's one (on her) but she is a size 6 and petite. I am a 12 with a curvy bottom and narrow top half.

???

Yes you can if you feel pretty much confident & comfortable in the sweater dress, but I have the same problem as yourself I am a size 10 & curvy.

Yes yes def! I am pear and recently got a fab jumper dress from Oasis. It has a cowl neck and sleeves that puff out at the bottom so all balances the lower half very nicely. I have worn it loads and twas only £40.

I am pear shaped - have one from monsoon. Look for some detail at the neck and maybe slighlty puffy (princess??) sleeves as this kind of balances. Tights and boot - it looks good IMO - but I like a bit of bum!

controlfreaky2 · 08/12/2007 00:02

is it above or on the knee?

BBBee · 08/12/2007 00:25

i have this one

AnybodyHoHoHomeMcFly · 08/12/2007 23:22

No it's this one which I am a bit to see they are describing as a top!! I have been merrily wearing it as a dress, albeit often with jeans under or a slip and opaque tights.

AnybodyHoHoHomeMcFly · 08/12/2007 23:23

Looks much nicer on than in that pic too (imo at least )

I'm bigger in the bottom area and I have a lovely Gap one. I'll try to find a link.
