Hair looks better after swimming - how do I replicate?

When I have been swimming (with toddler) and hair is chlorinated it dries naturally & looks full bodied & has lots of life.

How do I recreate this without swimming?

Any products to add lots of body?

I have a thick, graduated bob haircut

Thanks

Sea salt spray possibly?

EssentiallyDisorganised · 20/09/2021 22:11

Mine's the same, looks at it's best if I don't rinse it or touch it after swimming. Salt sprays just turn it into a sticky mess. No idea what the answer is to be honest.

The Christophe Robin Rose Volumising Spray is amazing and really light - sort of thickens without weight.

Thank you, I found some salt spray in the back of the drawer so I’ve shoved that on today and will see how it goes.

Thanks for the other recommendation @PersonaNonGarter I’ll give it a try 👍

I accidentally created amazing hair last night. My evening shower went cold and I panicked and forgot to rinse out my conditioner. Rinsed it out a bit under the tap in the sink, towel dried it, brushed it with one of those brushes for wet hair and then fell asleep on it. Woke up with lovely waves somehow and much volume.

Wow @OnceMoreOnToTheBeach I wish that would happen to me! I usually look like I’ve been electrocuted in the mornings 🙈

Dry shampoo, brush out thoroughly then damp it and allow to dry.
