Just used one on my tache and OUCH!

Is there a knack? Will it get easier?

Yes it gets easier. Wouldn't be without mine.

You'll get used to the pain eventually too! Just like waxing, I guess. Barely makes me wince these days. Tough as old boots!

Thanks @ancientgran
Do you just have a go every day?
Is it easier on very short hairs?

I like how quick it is!

I do it a couple of times a week. I usually do it while watching TV, maybe that distracts me. I don't find it very painful now, uncomfortable perhaps. It is amazing how quick and effective it is.

I’ve been using them for years and don’t feel a thing. Try doing it when the skin is warm, might be a bit more comfortable for you.

I used one of these tools a bit over enthusiastically last summer on the blonde hairs on my chin and now they've grown back all stubbly.

It works on the few hairs on my tash but I think I shouldve stayed away from the chin area!

I find it slightly less sore if you dampen the skin

Gwenhwyfar · 13/09/2021 19:29

Yes, they hurt less as you get used to it, like plucking eyebrows.

RubySlippers123 · 15/09/2021 21:48

Been doing it a bit more every day. Feels much better today. Love it!
