Has anyone successfully used an IPL device on peach fuzz?

I’m sure mine is getting longer. As well as the dark beardy hairs that I’m having to pluck.
I am ‘white’ skinned . The fuzz appears fair but the beardy hairs are dark.
Thanks

IPL targets dark hairs, so I’m afraid it wouldn’t work on light, peach fuzz. It would work on those rogue dark hairs though! Love my IPL, has really transformed my life as I was very self conscious of my dark body hair before

I have IPL on my face. It doesn't work on peach fuzz but it does work on the dark beardy hairs. I'm pretty hairy and it has done wonders for me.
It's not permanent but hoping to get to the stage where I just need a top up every 6 months or so.
I think electrolysis works on fair hairs

Try an eyebrow razor to dermaplane off the peach fuzz. IPL needs the contrast of dark hairs on lighter skin, so is good for leg stubble, armpits, bikini and any other places such as the dark chin hairs, but not peach fuzz.

The only thing that'll work on peach fuzz is electrolysis I'm afraid

Bummer
If I used it for chin hairs and my moustache( which is darker) would I have to shave the rest of the hairs on my face first?

Does that make the hair grow back stubbly? I want it gone but I scared of making things worse!

No it doesn’t make them grow back stubbly - have a look at some tutorials online and then see if you’d like to try it. The eyebrow razors are only a couple of £ and the whole process is very quick; I’ve only done it a few times (perhaps 10) over the course of several years, generally when it starts to bother me (when it gets long lol 😩) but I know a lot of people do it more frequently as part of their regime, so hopefully someone else will be able to add more info if I’m missing anything 😊

But the benefits aside from no fuzz is that it exfoliates the skin and then is a good time to do some skin pampering/face mask etc as your skin is perfect to soak up lots of goodies immediately after dermplaning, it then also is a really good surface for make-up as well. It’s not something you have to religiously keep doing, you can just try it and then decide either way if/how often you want to do it again.

I was mega nervous before trying it and also scared of stubble, but I researched a lot around this (apparently it’s a myth that shaving makes it grow back darker/coarser) it hasn’t been the case at all, but definitely look into it yourself if you’re concerned. Good luck!
