Hmmm, I have quite oily skin, not sure this would work for other people, but it always works for me.

I soak some toilet paper or a cotton ball in isopropyl alcohol, and then attach it to the spot with a plaster. It dries it up.

isopropyl alcohol? di i ask the chemist for it, or can i buy it off the shelf? sounds like scary stuff! lol

toothpaste!!

honestly, put a smear of toothepaste on said spot (i normally do this overnight as otherwise you get rather strange looks), and by morning it is dried up.

my friend told me and it works. even my 13yo tried recently and was very impressed with mum's advice (which felt so good as she normally ignores me now for knowing nothing !)

HTH

Rubbing alcohol. I think you can buy it off the shelf. Actually, I think I got mine in France.

It is scary stuff. But it dries out spots.

Yep, I'm a toothpaste fan too. Tis v bad for your skin but having a huge pluke is very bad for your sense of humour as well

Anna8888 · 04/12/2007 09:34

Buy a 5% benzoyl peroxide ointment from the chemist and put on twice a day.

slim22 · 04/12/2007 09:57

rub with tea tree oil or alcohol and cover with dead sea mud overnight
DO NOT POKE

mamasin · 04/12/2007 13:46

whitehorsesfortoomanycourses · 05/12/2007 17:32

3 things i try: 1st have clearasil intense spot treatment stuff - expensive but use about 4 times and you can see a difference, secondly, neat vodka (well thats my excuse forputting it in the trolley, and then echo that toothpaste at night and its dried up by morning - do not squeeze, do not pass go and do not collect £200...!
