Face wash for acne rosacea / really sensitive skin

Any help greatly appreciated.

I started with rosecea 3 years ago... I was initially misdiagnosed which hasn't helped but 4 months ago prescribed soolantra which has really helped with the redness /flushing /itching. However I now start to get spots (didn't have many pre soolantra)

Anyway.. I was advised by a dermatologist last year to use Dermol 500 as a facewash and find it good but the gp who prescribed soolantra said I shouldn't use it long term.

Everything else seems to massively irritate my skin!! The Creave hydrating one after using twice had me in agony for a month and last night I used la roche posey torraline milk cleanser and now I'm itchy and red again.

None of the supposedly mild anti reaction stuff works, in fact quite the opposite. I feel like there's a strong fungal element to my skin and am better with stuff like tea tree that's antifungal.

Does anyone else have this skin type and what do you use? Am getting desperate.

Do you use an anti dandruff shampoo? Dandruff irritated my DD’s sensitive face skin. It’s much better since she began to treat her scalp.

@Porridge alert - I use E45 wash for my hands and body. It used to say on the bottle that it can be used on the face but now it just says for hands and body. Do you find it works OK on your face? What do you use to remove your make up?

I've realised Simple products are much better for my rosacea and sensitivity than more expensive products I've tried.
I use Simple cleanser if I've worn make up.
Instead of a facial wash or tap water I use Simple toner to clean my face.

TL:DR it's been fine on my face. I use cerave hydrating moisturiser or cetaphil under it. Boots eye pads for mascara or a bit of miscellar water but only on eyes, not on face and I wash off immediately. A balm if my skin should feel dry. E45 on top.

Long version (be prepared to be bored!)
The older version was much better, I thought. I think there was a problem with fires so they changed the formula!! It's not as thick but it still works well. If you look at the ingredients on the back, they're more or less the same. The new ingredients are emollients or binding agents. I went on amazon and queried if it could still be used on the face and people said it hadn't been a problem. It's been fine on me.
I don't wear much make-up. Just a light bb cream, blush and bronzer so the e45 will take all that off but it won't shift mascara so I use either boots eye removal pads or a bit of miscellar water - but only on my eyes and then rinse off and wash with my cleanser - cerave hydrating cleanser or cetaphil. My skin seems to cope with this but if it was struggling, I'd use a balm.
I hydrate my face with hado labo hyaluronic acid, the ordinary buffet and then a moisturiser or a gel.
What a palaver. There's bottles all over the bathroom ready for emergency action stations on my skin! I was really shocked and tearful when I started with rosacea and I don't want it back. I sympathise with everyone who is struggling with it.
There's a YouTuber called Dr Dray who's a dermatologist. She gives excellent advice. I also heard if you suffer from acne rosacea and acne scars, adapalene (differin) is really good. Plus it's fantastic for wrinkles.
Sorry I went on a bit there. I took early retirement a few years ago and have too much time on my hands. I love skin care!
