I've got a longish bob which is no where near as tidy or sleek as Posh's so I want to do something to it for a couple of Xmas parties I'm going to just to make a bit less boring.

Are there any websites that could give me some pix and tips?

If you have GHDs (or simular) you could do loose tousled curls? But this will make your hair look shorter, so depends on how short your hair already is (to ensure there is no Shirley Temple 'situation')

www.ghdhair.com has videos of how to achieve different looks E.G curls/waves/straight hair with volume

Otherwise, you could always try your parting on the other side/in the middle, drying it then using velcro rollers for a volume-at-roots look or even drying straight and then pinning up the very front section (what would be your fringe)

For a totally different look, you can buy clip-on hair pieces that you clip to the roots underneath your top layer of hair and these can be curled, blow-dryed etc www.asos.com/Jessica-Simpson-Hair-Do/Hairdo-Hair-Extensions-By-Jessica-Simpson-Ken-Paves---Wavy-15/P rod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=214616&cid=3956&clr=ButteredToast&sh=0
