What type of hair have you got? I have had both and the second pair were better for me but I have very long thick hair.

I saw an offer on ghd's at tesco direct I think. It was on the Martin Lewis website a few days ago on the forums. They were about £20 off for the wide ones.

thanks both

straightish hair, quite thick, shortish

To be honest the first one will be fine if you wear your hair shortish. You wont go wrong with either, they both tame my hair and I look like Tina Turner after I have blow dried!

Go for the first ones. They are the most versatile and you can do the curls too. I have them and have shoulder length hair - they are excellent

The other ones are usually for really thick and wavy hard to control hair.

Buy the normal ones, not the salon wide or the mini's.
