Curly/frizzy hair - help!

I've got naturally (loose) curly hair if I leave it to dry.
So I wash my hair, don't brush it and its curly. Except for the back of it it's really frizzy!
It looks lovely at the front, but the back is just a fuzz ball.
Is there anything I can put in it to keep the curly all over the hair?
I just wash and straighten it all the time but would be nice to have another option.

Conditioner only method?

What hairbrush are you using? or comb (I use a wide tooth comb as brushing= breakages= frizz)

Silk pillow case at night (they aren't too expensive).

I have a wave with a mind of its own and it is quite needy. The above works for me.

Hope someone else answers with more specialist curl advice for you op.

Also you need a heat protection product if you straighten, as much I love my ghds (a habit from the 00s) those things can really scorch the hair x

It’s a minefield of many products, methods, and moisture vs protein. I’ve joined several wavy girls groups on fb and looked for people with similar type of hair to me to get some tips. Most seem to use gel after washing to get a cast, and then when fully dry, scrunch out the crunch and the curls then stay.
Are you plopping after washing? That makes my hair a bit straight and frizzy.

My daughter has curly hair. We put aloe Vera through it. Have you looked at the Curly Girl method?
