Looking for shoe recommendations, all kinds really but specifically going out shoes that will give me a bit of height. I am self diagnosing here, but I think I have a mortons neuroma in one foot, extreme burning pain in ball of foot, which cramps occasionally, and plantar fasciitis in other which if extreme tendorness in heel, worse after resting and in a morning.

Fit flops cured my PF within 2 weeks after I'd spent a year trying every treatment ever invented!

They have to be the ugly deep wedge looking ones though

I spent an absolute fortune on gadgets, special insoles and singing and dancing shoes recommended by clever marketing people Hmm and also podiatrists.
Fitflop Rally trainers and Skechers cured mine. Where about £500 of snake oil didn't.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to fit flops I’d really recommend Tiki Girl orthotic flip flops on amazon - mine have been amazing for my PF and even though I don’t suffer anymore I still wear them all the time, even round the house as slippers if I feel my feet getting achey again

Mine was cured by Nike trainers and a tens ankle device from lidl! I wore this 3 times a day for a couple of weeks.

I also wore crocs indoors. I cannot wear flats anymore.

I think it’s tricky as what works for one person doesn’t seem to work for someone else.

I have to agree, shoes are my 'thing' the thought of getting rid of 30+ pairs of heels really really makes me feel old, frumpy and short.
No need to get rid just yet.

I wore heels for years after my PF eased. I’ve only got rid of most of them now (Kept a few most favourite pairs for the odd occasion) because I no longer wish to wear them. If I wanted to I absolutely could. I’m a shoe person and I know what you mean about having to give them up. But it doesn’t have to mean that you can’t ever wear them again - just don’t wear them now when you’re suffering.

Can’t help with PF but I’ve suffered with Morton’s Neuroma. Have to say i find fitflops to be great. Most helpful suggestion with Morton’s is to wear wide shoes, especially in the toe area. Anything that pushes toes together will aggravate it. I also find I need well padded soles, or shoes that support the foot, so not all the pressure is directly on the ball of the foot. Again, fitflops we’re good for that. I’ve tried the boots, fit flops and rally trainers. Not tried any of the filled in shoe styles. Good luck!
