Thinking ahead to the cold - thermals under trousers

All the lovely Autumn style threads have got me thinking!
I have several pairs of trousers/culottes that I'd love to extend the wear of into winter - but I'm just too cold! I wear tights or even thermals under jeans and skirts and usually add a slip if the skirt isn't lined - but most of my trousers are not lined and wearing tights or thermals underneath means horrible static cling.
Has anyone found any layers that don't do this please or any other solutions? (Other than getting all my trousers lined which is probably a bit too expensive!!
Thank you Smile

I find old cotton (or cotton mix) leggings work quite well.

Thanks Floisme, I'll give it a try - do the trousers not cling to the leggings though? I was wondering about either silk thermals (pricey!) or something that is closer to slip fabric but I can't find anything!

I've got gorgeous toasty merino leggings from Dilling uk.dilling.com/
I wear them undertrousers and long skirts in the winter

Oh wow they look amazing, thank you Alpha! Not too expensive for merino either (I nearly fainted at the price of some of the merino ski base layers - although I'm sure they last forever).

Have you tried Uniqlo heat tech leggings? I don't wear them under trousers myself but I do wear the tops throughout the winter and don't find they cling to other clothes.
