What clothes brands do your preschool or primary school aged girls wear?

Feel like I’m stuck in a Joules / Boden rut. What brands do your pre-school or primary school aged girls wear? I do already use the supermarkets/ H&M for basics so I’m looking more for where to get the special bits. Thanks

Mine is 9 so not that young but I like Zara (I’m not keen on primary colours or appliqué though)

WorriedMillie · 14/08/2021 19:39

(Joules and Boden Grin) plus Jojo Maman, Frugi, Kite, Toby Tiger

TheWayTheLightFalls · 14/08/2021 19:40

4yo here. Boden, M&S, H&M, Frugi, some of the Scandi brands like Maxomorra esp in the sales - I tend to buy on sale for the year ahead. Supermarkets for jeans and basics.

DinosaurOfFire · 14/08/2021 19:40

Frugi, Jojo Maman Bebe, Kite plus some bits from Maxomorra and Duns, also Boots Miniclub have some nice things.

L1ttleSeahorse · 14/08/2021 19:41

Next and mountain warehouse. Occasaionally salt rock or similar.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 14/08/2021 19:42

I buy a lot of Frugi, but only in their sales!

John Lewis has some gems at times.

Next sometimes have some nice age-appropriate stuff- I love the embellished cardigans that they do each winter.

Gap can be hit and miss, but good value with their 40% off codes.

PegasusReturns · 14/08/2021 19:43

Wild and Gorgeous and Monsoon

Orangedaisy · 14/08/2021 19:44

Whatever is in the hand me down bag. The gap, next and boden/joules seems to last the best.

lannistunut · 14/08/2021 19:46

Charity shop Grin

steelseries · 14/08/2021 19:50

Arket, Zara, H&M for basics.

For occasions/special I get Cyrillus, Petit Bateau and Olivier Baby & Kids

catsjammies · 14/08/2021 19:59

I have a tiny Etsy shop making clothing, happy to pm you my Instagram if you fancy a look!

ParityJ · 14/08/2021 20:01

Primark and Sainsbury's mostly.

She's 8 and she grows quickly. I refuse to spend a lot because it would outlast her and we have no one to hand down too.

onemouseplace · 14/08/2021 20:03

Arket, Zara, Next and H&M mainly.

hemhem · 14/08/2021 20:04

Most everyday clothes are from Next or M&S. We get gifts of clothes from my MIL from Petit Bateau and Mayoral and they seem very special!

hemhem · 14/08/2021 20:06

Next online have a lot of other brands too so whilst I say Next, the dresses from Monsoon and Ted Baker make nice party clothes

Redwinestillfine · 14/08/2021 20:08

Landsend (good for summer gear and extra tough knee trousers), mountain warehouse has some well priced organic cotton in addition to the above...

MsSquiz · 14/08/2021 20:16

My 19 month old wears Next, George, Peacocks, Gap, Joules, JojoMamanBebe, John Lewis & H&M mainly. Both new, 2nd hand from my niece or from preloved Facebook groups.

Ihaveaquestion77 · 14/08/2021 21:07

Actually, I probably buy most from Joules and Boden Grin Other than that - Frugi, M&S, John Lewis, Next, Tu and Monsoon.

AzureTwist · 14/08/2021 21:12

P.O.P, Monsoon for dresses, JoJoMaman (under 5) and Next.

Carycy · 14/08/2021 21:14

Mostly Sainsbury’s tu and Zara. Light house clothing for coats. Next online for the odd thing.
I stopped buying from boden about a year ago. It started to look a bit twee and babyish. Still buy trousers for my boys from there.

Ilikecheeseontoast · 14/08/2021 21:24

Next, Marks and Spencer and occasionally Monsoon.

AnnaSW1 · 14/08/2021 21:36

M&S, Frugi, Monsoon, Next and sometimes I see something nice when I'm walking thorough Sainsburys. They are good for tall kids.

endlesscraziness · 14/08/2021 21:41

Monsoon and Zara

CommanderBurnham · 14/08/2021 22:07

Abercrombie is nice, their cotton is super soft.

Preech · 14/08/2021 22:10

M&S, Matalan, Regatta, Asda, Geox, mountain warehouse, trespass, H&M.
