I used to have type 1 rosacea and my checks would be red and they'd hurt a lot. I tried a lot of topicals and the moisturizer that seemed to help me most was aveeno. However, I'd like to add that if your rosacea is being caused by an inflammation then a moisturizer wouldnt help it much. I used to take anti inflammatory supplements like cod oil, turmeric and grape seed. You can find them in a lot of places such as www.vitaminexpress.org/uk/opc-vital-opc-capsules. Taking anti inflamatory supps is something you can try doing if you havent already.

My mother in law uses Rosealique for her inflamed skin and it really helps. It looks weird and yellow ish when first out of the tube but when rubbed in it looks good.

Get a tester of the Roselique first, it's expensive and I looked like a Simpson and bright yellow when I tried it Grin

Cerave and get some azealic acid too. The Ordinary 10% one is fine or you can get a prescription for a higher percentage from a dermatologist.
