Gym wear for larger woman

I have just joined a gym for the first time in many years, my induction will be on Thursday. I have now realised that I don't have anything to wear. Please help!

I'm very large (size 18) and very self conscious. Joining the gym is a big deal for me and I want to feel as comfortable as I can. What can I wear that won't make me feel really fat, even more self conscious or out of place?

Matalan, Tesco and Sainsbury’s all have a good range for a reasonable price.
Lucy Locket Loves do great active wear leggings that don’t budge/go see through.

PS agree about Marks being good. Sweaty Betty is lovely and it's good quality but it's very expensive!
You get what you pay for with sweaty betty though

When I wore cheaper kit, the leggings had wet patches making me look ad if I'd just wet myself after a work out.

Sweaty betty leggings stay dry.

Good for you 🙌🏼. I pretty much live at the gym and I can assure you, patrons are all shapes and sizes and everyone is really supportive of each other. If not, it's a crap gym.

Absolutely!

Another vote for Good Moves at M&S. I think their co-ordinated gym gear is the best range they’ve got at the moment.

I was coming on to recommend m and s but I see others have beaten me to it. Lots of choice, great patterns and reasonably priced.

I haven’t had much luck with their sports bras though.

Boobydoo for sports bras. I like panache ultimate underwire for my 36GGs.

This.

I ended up leaving one gym because I couldn't be doing with all the posing.

Panache Sports bras are great for bigger cup sizes - I'm a 34F and there is zero bounce.
