Undereye circles - less scary alternatives to tear trough filler?

I’ve had undereye dark circles/troughs for as long as I can remember. The colour is less of an issue as I can conceal it, the indentation is more what bothers me and makes me look tired all the time.

I’ve considered tear trough fillers but I know they are tricky and can go wrong easily. (Although if anyone has a solid recommendation in London, I’m interested).

Are there other options? I think I’ve read that cheek fillers or botox in certain places can help with these, is this true? I am sceptical about creams, I’ve tried a few and they’ve done nowt for me - I have very unreactive skin.

Thanks

Funnily enough, at the weekend I looked up facial exercises on youtube for this issue

From what I can tell it's all basically the same exercise, narrowing your eyes to a slit so that the undereye skin is taut. But without raising your eyebrows.

I'm going to try and stick to it religiously for 2 months and see what happens.

And I'm planning to buy a Foreo Bear so hopefully that will also have an effect.

I'd love to know of less scary alternatives too. Eye creams and concealers just aren't cutting it anymore. I'm convinced I've made my under eye area worse over the years with pulling skin down to insert contact lenses.

Interesting TheRealMummyPig - I also wear lenses, but I pull the upper eyelid up. That bit’s looking a bit baggy too mind you!

I have to be honest and say I know I won’t do daily exercises or treatments … so am more interested in paying for a more instant result Blush

I had them as a baby and they just got worse. Not for the faint hearted but I had upper and lower blepharaplasty and it took 20 years off me. Before I was told I looked tired daily but now nobody ever says it to me. It's local anesthetic but doesn't take long. Just don't look up when the upper lids are being done.

Nengineer would you mind PMing me with costs and who did it?
