Crows feed. Fillers / botox cost

Have you had either botox or fillers to tackle crows feet round the eyes. I am really tempted.

Have you been happy with the result and roughly how much did you pay?

I've found somewhere that offers a free consultation with a Dr, though I believe they are actually a dentist. I suppose medically trained is medically trained though. Is it important to have it done by a Dr?

I had Botox and fillers around 18months ago. They put fillers in my cheeks and a tiny bit of Botox at the side of my eyes. I think it cost about £500, with an NHS discount, and I had it done by a doctor I vaguely know who has an excellent reputation.

I chose him based upon:
His wider reputation for Botox/fillers
Friends in common
Professional registration at stake if he acted incompetently

I was very happy with the results but I couldn’t justify paying that out repeatedly. Having said that I might do it again if there’s a special occasion!

My doctor is a consultant dermatologist and charges about 250 for botox - that is forehead and side of eyes . It lasts about 6 months and the result is excellent . He is of the less is more school .

I would go to a dentist by preference for Botox - they have a much more detailed knowledge of head and neck anatomy than doctors do.

North West here. My lady charges me £175 for two areas (11s and forehead). She's brilliant. It always looks really natural (well as natural as it can look). She's a nurse for the NHS and does aesthetics from a little clinic at her home

I would say a dentist rather than a nurse or Dr,unless a cosmetic surgeon,i had very good results with a dentist and they know more about facial nerves etc
