Tear trough fillers? Yes or no?

Have always had pronounced dark tear troughs, hereditary since childhood, but these have increased with age. They make me look miserable, Im a happy person really! My skin is very good for my age but my tear troughs make me look haggard and sad. I would love fillers but don't know anyone whose had them to ask about/see the results.

@Phantasmo I've never been to him but agree his work looks natural. He's too expensive for me! He was featured in a documentary years ago about his practice and he explained that he had botched plastic surgery when he was much younger and bitterly regrets it now. I feel so sorry for him that he's in an industry that is based on looks but he hates how he looks and can't change it.

"But his own face looks so overdone? A real contrast to the natural look he favours on his clients. Strange."

I often think this about hairdressers. They often have hairstyles that are a bit 'out there'.

Hi
I treated myself to Botox for the first time about 6 weeks ago (I love it) & tear trough filler about 2 weeks ago.
I am happy with the filler & I'm definitely using less under eye concealer. I also had a tiny amount of cheek filler.
I was so nervous beforehand but it was very painless.
3 separate people commented last week who I hadn’t seen for a couple of weeks ‘oh you look lovely today’ 😊.
I hoping that was from the procedure rather the fact I was wearing a dress for the first time in a long time !
It’s expensive but I will definitely be saving up for the next time.
I’m 50 if that makes any difference.

I'm not in the UK so can't use the websites you may know about. How can I make sure I find a good practitioner?
