Lip fillers

So I had lip fillers a few days ago, and damn!!! It was so sore, even with numbing cream, I didn't think it would be that sore, anyways have you any tips for reducing the pain? Making it more bearable? Have you experienced this pain when having lip fillers!

I think most people find it painful, even with the numbing cream. It's a needle being pushed into the lip and filled, it makes me feel sick but then I have my top ups anyway, I've got to 2.5 and I'm done for a year phew!

My dentist does my fillers and she gives a full dental block so I don’t feel a thing!
I don’t know if I could do it without that!

Dental block and cannula - no pain that way. Sorry

It does hurt. I take a deep out breath when I know it’s going in and try and be still to reduce the bruising.

Afterward for the day I find it hurts when drinking from a glass or kissing! But then this goes pretty quickly.

I take paracetamol before going too and afterwards I’m all over the ice packs wrapped in a muslin square.

I had fillers for the first time around 6 weeks again and honestly it was painful/uncomfortable for 2 weeks. I also had work done on a lip scar at the same time with a cannula which may have made it worse but I certainly didn’t expect for it to be so tender for so long! It will subside and the results are definitely worth it Smile
