Best eye cream

I've just started to get the beginning of laughter lines at the corners of my eyes and I don't mind them at all but the area below my eye is starting to crinkle just a little bit.

I need an eye cream or gel that will just dampen these down a bit. Ive got no dark circles or puffy eyes, just the lines and I'd like to make sure they don't get out of control too quickly.

I don't want to massively erase them by having a tweakment as I think they add character to my face but it's about time I started with a proper eye cream I think.

Any recommendations for the holy grail of eye creams?

I love Sisley Black Rose eye cream. It is the very definition of Not Cheap (though about 30% cheaper at AllBeauty than the mainstream stores) but it made my eyes look better the first time I used it, and with ongoing use (am on my third one) I really see the difference. It also feels gorgeous to use, the applicator is really good, and it absorbs quickly.

I can recommend tons usually £200 approx for the best. No cream works like a subtle bit of Botox! I saved over £500 on cream once I started having Botox from a very experienced practitioner

howsicklyarsekissy how does the botox work? I have forehead botox but have never been near my eyes - is this the tear trough stuff?

My practitioner is great for my botox and fillers but what should I ask for for eyes?

LordEmsworth will have a look at that now.

For the corner of the eye wrinkles (crows feet) a bit of Botox will do wonders. I do it every 4-5 months and while it doesn’t erase them completely it really minimises them a fair bit. For the crepey creases under your eyes I think tear trough filler is meant to help but I’ve not tried it and I understand it’s a tricky one to do. I’ve tried plenty of eye creams, mostly middle to high end and nothing has left me wowed, I’ll be honest.. so I think a reliable brand of eye cream plus a bit of crows feet Botox will be your best bet - good luck!

Another vote for Sisley rose. I use the face cream under my eyes as it’s so light but they have launched an eye cream. They are the best at giving out samples and so ask for some.

I’m going to suggest something completely different from Sisley. I wish I could afford Sisley prices, but not many people can.

BeautyPie ceramide roll on serum. It plumps, cools and does not irritate your skin. My wrinkles definitely look better. I use it a few times a day, also over make up. I keep it in the fridge when I remember, but that’s not strictly necessary.

Estée Lauder Revitalising Supreme eye cream in the morning and Advanced Night Repair eye cream (gel) at night have been gamechangers for me. I can’t recommend them highly enough - I’m in my early 40s and most people can’t believe that I’m not in my early 30s when I tell them my age. I use other EL products on the skin on my face and neck as well and they have never looked better. I was actually considering tear trough filler before using these products but don’t think I need it now! No affiliation with the brand but they really work for me.
