I’m 53- don’t wear much make up and skin is in good nick but am missing a highlighter from my kit. Not looking for the strobe effect but need something that is more subtle and hard to get wrong.
I use a lot of hourglass stuff for example as it’s very forgiving for lazy and somewhat incompetent people like me.
Thanks🙂

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector or Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder are both good. I'm 60 and find these lift my face and brighten me up without making me reflective.

Becca are going out of business soon so I've done a big stock up!

AYU has one I've been listing after.

Becca is being discontinued?😲

I really like the laura mercier matte radiance in 01

The other one that's great (but is too dark for me as I'm v v pale) is essence pure nude highlighter

I agree re Becca and Hourglass. Apparently Becca are closing down in September-time, so yes, stock up.

Becca is very blinding and not so forgiving on lines

I would go for a low light powder - NARS Fort de France is lovely
Something more affordable is west n wild highlighter

I would highly recommend a cream highlighter- the stick highlighters from Nudestix are amazing but apply with your finger

Wet n wild from boots

Randomuser9876 · 27/06/2021 18:05

I use the Clinique chubby stick highlighter.

It's very flattering and easy to blend

Becca was amazing but they reformulated last summer and now it’s really glittery and strongly scented, so I wouldn’t bother.

The new Lisa Eldridge ones are lovely and have lifting qualities. Charlotte Tilbury’a Hollywood Flawless Filter is more dewy than glittery and is lovely, even all over the skin.
