Anti ageing skincare after microblading

I've recently had my eyebrows microbladed and got some semi permanent eyeliner too. It's all healed and I love it.. but I'm a bit stumped as to what skincare to use now. I'm nearly 40, with some fine lines, dark circles and puffy, droopy eyelids. I know I can't use retinol around that area now Sad and acids too but is there anything else I can try? In particular an eye serum or cream would be great. Does anyone have recommendations of particular products that are semi-permanent makeup safe? Or haven't caused their microblading to fade? Do I need to avoid all acids? Vitamin C?

I've looked at a few products that are more peptide or ceramide based but scanning the ingredients they still have various obscure acids listed..

I wonder if anyone else has been through this and found something that worked for them? I'm not expecting miracles without my beloved retinol but would rather be using something vaguely anti ageing than nothing!

Thanks in advance!!

I use prescription tretinoin and bha around my brows 🤣🤣

Had them tattooed for 12 years now . Been done 3 times in that period so not really thinking the skincare has had huge impact

I was thinking of having microblading - I didn't know you can't use retinol or acids after

I was advised that I could continue to use retinol and acids etc just not on the area treated. So I continue to use around the rest of my face and near to my eyebrows.

@stevalnamechanger oooh that's interesting! Maybe I'll see how I go with some low strength products..

@LesLavandes unfortunately yes they advise to avoid as it will fade the work, apart from the annoying healing period/aftercare it's the main drawback for me

@Salanda it's really the eye area I want to treat, tricky as I got the eyeliner too. It looks so great I can't make up my mind whether it's worth the wrinkles lol

I wouldn’t even bother using low strength retinol . Tret is the only thing with significant results
