Where to buy loose thin patterned trousers (ideally with pockets)

I have a couple of pairs of linen trousers which suit for the warmer days, but I see women out and about in thin loose patterned trousers and they look great, yet I never really see any when I am out shopping.

Admittedly I dont shop a lot Grin or in a wide range of places, so I wondered if anyone could recommend a go to shop for this sort of trouser.

Preferably in store as I have a gift card for the large shopping centre in my town.

@Cocolapew

I know you don't want cuffs but if anyone is looking for light trousers these are lovely, I have them in green and a greyish blue.
Are these fairly accurately sized @Cocolapew ?
Cocolapew · 10/06/2021 23:50

I'm more a 16 but the 14 fit perfectly @KeyboardWorriers

Cocolapew · 10/06/2021 23:51

I sized down originally because linen stretches during the day, but they keep their shape really well, I love them Grin

Ilovemaisie · 10/06/2021 23:55

I get mine from the pyjama section at Primark too Grin.
There was a gorgeous flower top in Primark the other day - in the nightwear section. Much prettier than the tops in the actual top section. Sadly didn't have my size.

Saw an advert earlier with a few different patterns, Studio of all places!

Grass-fields have loads of outstanding trousers, they're a bit tight on the waist but stunning . I have a pair of their silk trousers, which were a total bargain.

Lavender201 · 11/06/2021 08:07

Uniqlo drape straight leg trousers are my favourite, they have different patterns

TableNiner · 11/06/2021 09:10

Sainsbury’s tend to do a lot of these

DarcyLewis · 11/06/2021 09:16

I have some Next petite ones.

nevertrustaherdofcows · 11/06/2021 11:15

Next; just plug jersey joggers into the search function. There are a couple of pairs in Clearance, also.

CurbsideProphet · 11/06/2021 11:36

I got some from Matalan and they're really comfy, plus they don't look too scruffy. I think they are called jersey harem trousers.

Victoria1083 · 11/06/2021 11:46

M&S and Fatface - just got a couple of pairs

CountryCob · 11/06/2021 12:23

@KeyboardWorriers I have just bought two pairs of those thanks so much, I have tried before and either too tight or short or wide or hard to coordinate with rest of outfit but they look really promising

Great name 🙂 I'm 5ft and bought the Matalan jersey harem trousers withe abstract dash pattern. The pattern is much nicer than they look in the photo. I don't know why Matalan calls them harem trousers as they really aren't!

I’ve been nearly living in these this week as they are lovely and light -

I’m just under 5’ 2” and they’re not too long

britespark1 · 11/06/2021 23:15

I bought these from Next and love them www.next.co.uk/g8681s4/406775

I have a couple of pairs from summers gone by but always feel I look like I’m wearing my pyjamas. Any tips on avoiding this? I generally wear them with a plain t-shirt tucked in and a pair of flip flops or slides.

KeyboardWorriers · 12/06/2021 08:14

@chickensafari plain t shirt and some nice (simple) jewelry is my approach.

They probably do look a bit like pyjamas but I figure I can take that for how comfortable they are in hot weather

SendARavenToRiverRun · 12/06/2021 08:27

Yours has some lovely floaty wide legged patterned ones online. The do look a bit pyjmas-esqe but with a plain t shirt it's fine. Plus size only, smallest is a 14 I think. I've had a few pairs of the years and they wash well and are really cool and comfy (my main request in any clothing!)

Myrrfect · 12/06/2021 08:32

Lindex?

They have loads but I wear these to work and they are amazingly comfortable with big pockets

As PPs have said Primark pyjama department is great for this.
Sainsbury's too.
Tesco's used to do good fabric Palazzo but I'm not near one now so don't know if they still do.
