does anyone have the boden rainyday coat?

it is peeing with rain today and am stumped fro something to actuall y keep me dry and cannot bear the thought of an anorak! is this any good? does it keep you dry no matter what the weather? was going to order it but £79 is alot of money if its not up to the job!

I've got it - for the same reason, I hate anoraks! It's fine in gentle rain, but not good in heavy rain. I got caught in a torrential downpour about 1/4 mile from home one day, and my forearms (which were horizontal pushing the buggy) got drenched, and the shoulder seams leaked . Dd was snug as a bug in her rain bubble

I've got one ! Mines never leaked though, they do come up big, and the hood is mahoosive, so much so that when you turn round it sort of stays in one place, not great when trying to chase after two runaway under fives! The buttons are quite odd in that they're rubbery so quite hard to pull through, but after all that whinging .. Ut does look much better than anything else vaguely raincoaty (i've seen some shockers!)and everyone on the school run asked where I'd got it (not sure if thats a good thing!) Boden has not reached darkest Essex just yet !

Mine hasn't leaked even in heavy rain but the buttons are really badly sewn on - two have come off already and another is loose. I am still pleased with it though as I haven't found anything I like better. You need to look for a discount code though - I got 20% off mine - £63 is a lot better than £79!

I've got one, love it but echo the problems with the buttons. I've got 3 sat on the kitchen table waiting to be sewn on.

I have got another Boden coat (a cord one, delivered last month) and one of the buttons fell off that the first time I wore it!!
