I am thinking about getting my hair cut tmw - or at least this week

Have no idea of the jargon so don't know what to ask for.

Currently have long hair, about 2-3 inches below shoulders. Have been trying to grow my fringe out (everyone seems to so I thought I would see what was so great) but today no time so have had non-existent style and possibly a curtain fringe.

Have layers.

No time or expertise for doing anything with my hair but a short style is a no-no. (Will look about 12 and it needs regular cutting.)

I showed it to the hairdresser, Furball, and she said she could do it but ine is a bit smoother and tidier. I am sure it will look a bit more like the picture when I was it and can't style it!
