Yesterday I wore Clinique City Block SPF 40 and was in the sun for about 30 mins and still burned my nose bright red!
I cannot seem to find a product that will stop me burning and I am worried about the damage being done to my skin every day.
Please can anyone recommend a facial product that will ACTUALLY stop my skin from burning? I usually also wear makeup so need something Incan stick some powder on top of.
In the I have tried watery essence and body shop SPF 50.
Thanks.

That’s strange! Are you re-applying often enough? Lots of people rave about la-Roche posay, evy do a face mousse that’s supposed to be great. oh maybe look at the mist or powder spf’s for reapplication without messing up make up too much too?
Labmuffin beauty is a great source of spf info

Ultrasun mineral for 5he face, chemical blocks break down quickly.

Weird. Sunscreens expire. If it's a tube you opened last summer,it's probably no longer effective. You should keep sunscreen somewhere cool and not leave it in the car or expose the tube to sunlight. You may be inadvertently removing it by rubbing it off on clothes if you get dressed after you've applied it.You may be removing it when you apply make up. Just pat make up on top. You may not be using enough. You need half a teaspoon for your face. This is a lot and you need to let it dry up before putting make up on. I have dry skin and use LaRoche Posay moisturising suncream which sticks like glue. It stays sticky and have no choice but to dab make up on top. Make up then sticks like glue too.

I second the Ultrasun range. It's great. It doesn't irritate my skin as it's not chemical sunscreen and it lasts really well. Haven't ever burned through it.
