Lululemon - have I just made a mistake?

I've never worn Lululemon before. I just ordered some joggers online, and after reading the reviews am second guessing myself. They are on sale, so no refund, only store credit if I've got it wrong.

I'm normally a 14-16, mostly 16 in pants. As Lululemon is American sizing I ordered a 12, which the website says corresponds with UK16/EU44.

However, I've just read a bunch of reviews and articles saying their range runs really small and people generallygo up 1 or 2 sizes.

Any advice, please?

Ermmm..... try them on when they arrive and switch them if they don't fit.... hey presto.

I've always bought my true size from there and never had any issues? Also their stuff is really stretchy - I've got stuff ranging from a UK 8 to a UK 12 and I can wear all of it, all the time. In fact, I am still wearing a pair of size 12 leggings at 27 weeks pregnant.

Errm, I'm trying to establish how accurate the sizing is and that's not very helpful.

As it happens 12 is the largest size available in this style and I didn't need or want anything else from their range.

I always get my normal size. Their stuff is very tight, but its meant to be like that. Its very strechty. A challenge to pitnon, but very comfy afterwards.

Are you based in the U.K.? If you purchased online (doesn’t matter if in the sale) then you are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations as it is “distance selling” and you can’t inspect the item physically. You are allowed to cancel / notify them that you want to return the goods up to 14 days after you actually receive the goods even if you change your mind. You then have another 14 days to return the goods.

So if they are saying you can’t return the items then they are breaking the law...

Sorry and you are entitled to a refund - not store credit.

Thanks ohnana but I'm not in the UK and their T&C is store credit only on sale items. It's not the end of the world if that happens but not ideal.

It's reassuring to see most people are getting away with their usual size, fingers crossed!
