Ok - mid-40s and am getting to the point where I can't keep up with tweezers!!

What's my next step?!

I have this. I’ve got a Philips Ines but it’s not working

ThepastisNotinthepast · 26/05/2021 21:31

Ines ? Lumea

Could you afford to go to a skin clinic for laser treatment? They will tell you if your hair type is suitable.
I like the idea of permanent removal as they just get harder to see as you get older. I’m always pulling really long hairs out of my mums chin which she hasn’t even noticed.

LeafCutterAnt · 26/05/2021 21:35

I use an epilady.

Wax the buggers

I’ve recently enquired about this and was told

Dark hair/dark root = laser treatment
Pale hair/white root = electrolysis

For laser you would need to use SPF religiously and also avoid any retinoids or similar for a while pre and post treatment

One of these hair remover springs - most satisfying thing ever.

I use a combination of epilator and tweezers.

I did have laser about five years ago but since having DS it's all come back worse!

Hollywood browser and Phillips lumea for me, having battled for years with this.

I wax the day before lumea, browser on the day of lumea and try to browser and not pluck the rest of the fortnight. (fortnightly lumea sessions). Honestly it's brilliant. The more treatments I do, the less waxing and browsering I have to do. The regrowth is very little and it's very soft when it does come through.

Phillips Lumea. Life changing.
