John lewis website, photos cut off at model's head

This is weird. Does anyone know why they have started to do this ?

Just had a look - it’s true. Quite jarring. I haven’t been on their website since receiving some appalling customer service with a faulty item a few months ago but it looks a bit too try-hard / Scandi.

I think lots of site do this? I agree it looks odd though.
