Can anyone recommend a product which is easy to use and not hugely expensive? I have long very straight hair, i would like to be able to learn how to do some loose waves in my hair. Bit overwhelmed by amount of products out there and don't know where to start! Any you tube videos on how to do this also would be much appreciated also. Thanks so much

Yes! I’m a hair product snob and never found a curler that worked but took punt on this wand and it’s amazing! ELLESYE Curling Wand Tongs, 25 28 32mm Tapered Curling Iron for Long Short Hair, Hair Curler with 210℃ Constant Temperature, Dual Voltage 100V www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Q4P2X17/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_CgWmTG8dcX8G2?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

I just curl away from my face, it looks crazy when I’ve just finished but drops to nice waves after a couple of hours.

I have a bobble wand & a rectangle shaped babyliss thing but my hair is naturally wavy so holding is not an issue for me.

Thin straighteners are the answer. I've have tongs and wands over the years but using straighteners like scissors on gift ribbon, keeps the curls for ages, particularly on long hair. I had to use YouTube for videos to help.
