High-waisted trousers - are they just too Simon Cowell?

Impulse purchased some grey wool highwaisted trews on the way home from work.

I liked the idea at the time, but now am plagued by thoughts of the nation's favourite reality show judge, and am having second thoughts.

What do we think, o stylish ones?

I've just read the latest Bella and it says high waisted jocks with defined waists are the way to go if your bum is on the large side. I would love some high waisters (am a total fashion victim) but would def look like the Cowell myself as am short-waisted, in fact just a short arse who is straight up and down really - much like the man in question. He even has bigger boobs than me! So I'm quite jealous of your tall curveyness

I think they'll look good on you. I'm not tall (5'4") but have defined waist and bum def on the larger side and have found that high waist trousers really do suit
