Off on hols Monday, bought Jojo sandals for ds six weeks ago assuming his feet would grow. only thought to try them on today and they are like boats! His summer sandals are far too small. Panic. Is any high street shop selling a few pairs???

Pretty sure they are obnly available from directory and they won't be able to deliver before I go early Monday morning. Need to be in a shop for him to try on his freaky non growing feet. Will look in Next store tomorrow though with fingers crossed.

take normal shoes and buy some when you get there?

Rosa · 16/11/2007 17:18

Try clarks for doodles. I asked if they would have them in January as i needed summer shoes and they said they keep them generally might not have full range of colours etc but are likely to have some.
Or Brantano possibly if you have one .

deaconblue · 17/11/2007 20:55

have been to every shop in PEterborough. Mothercare had girls sandals left, nbothing for boys anywhere. Have bought some little trainer socks for him to wear with shorts and normal shoes and am hoping will be able to find some out there.

stick a "wanted" on here?
Mnetters are fab, ya never know what we have in our cupboards. I could provide shoes for several centipedes as i haven't cleared out the boys' stuff for eeeevvvvveeerrrr!!

francagoestohollywood · 17/11/2007 21:06

you might find them at your hols destination? where are you going? (and they might be cheaper)

LadyMuck · 17/11/2007 21:10

Agree - buy them when you get there. Your chances of finding them in a shop in the run-up to christmas isn't high. If you have an independent shop shoe then they might be worth a try - someone might be willing to dig deep int he sotck room.

going to Gran Canaria on Monday morning. I think we might be able to get some little jelly shoe type things. Am mainly thinking for on the beach as it is part pebbly, part sandy. Bloody forecast is for rain Wed and Thurs, daren't tell Dh, it'll break his heart if we have a crappy weather week.

francagoestohollywood · 17/11/2007 21:16

oh gosh no, I hope the weather will be allright!
I think you might also find many simil crocs at very low price. (aren't spanish shoes good leather and quite cheap? you might get a bargain!!!)

gigglewitch · 17/11/2007 21:16

Just seen some in the next directory - I thought i remembered that, but did wonder if i had imagined it... but may be worth seeing if they have any in the shop too!
i do think the idea of getting them when u get there might be the best suggestion in here tho!

gigglewitch · 17/11/2007 21:17

ASDA has fake crocs for a fiver. so does next.

deaconblue · 17/11/2007 21:22

Next ones are only in the directory as are their crocs, so too late. I think crocs only go down to size 6 fromt he ones (and fakes) I've seen around. Will ahve to cross all body parts in hope of sunshine and shoes. We booked this holiday after a rain soaked summer holiday in Devon which left us totally miserable!

OP posts:
gigglewitch · 17/11/2007 21:37

yes i think six is about the smallest, i bought DD that size in asda yesterday.

pray for sunshine! oh it is so hard to type with your fingers crossed
hope you have a lovely and relatively stress-free holiday!
