I want to wear the top with a skirt and black tights (thick) with these shoes in black

I want a skirt that is partyish and short - well, mid thigh or at least above the knee.

I can't find anything suitable anywhere.

I think I prefer the velvet ones but the denim ones might get worn more. Hmm, don't know. Going to TC tonight so will see if they have them in store.

Not even sure I'm brave enough to wear them! It's not something any of the people I'm going out with would wear so they might think 'WTF?'. One of my friends bought a pair of shorts last year and wore them out though so would probably wear if going out with her.

I've got a shirt from Coast a little bit like this one but with short sleeves and I think it would go better with velvet ones.
