Full coverage but not matte foundation for mature skin

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a new foundation as I feel my current one is a bit too matte now for my skin being mid 50s. I’ve used Double wear Estee Lauder for special occasions but day to day wear Max Factor facefinity compact. I loved Double Wear but it’s very matte and my skin is dry now. I was looking at Lancôme Teint Idole, anyone tried this ? Ideally I’m looking for something that’s touch proof as I hate it coming off on husband/clothes / phone etc I would like a satin finish or more natural finish, I don’t think I could cope with full on dewy finish if you know what I mean ! I need a fairly good coverage as I have some redness on cheeks and nose due to mild rosacea

I use BB foundation serum. But I also really like Make up forever Reboot.

I’m 63.

I use CC cream IT your skin but better. I find the coverage good and gives a lovely glow without being 'cakey '. I finish it with IT translucent powder which stops the shiny look but still looks dewy. I'm 50.

I've tried so many different foundations across a wide price range and none come anywhere close to chanel vitalumiere

I like Boots Hydraluminous. I'm late forties with dry skin and rosacea. For my red cheeks I pat on Clarins concealer in the little tube with a fingertip over the foundation.

Try the Lisa Armstrong foundation from Avon called Skinvisible, along with her moisturising primer. Gives a really natural finish.

@AnSionnachGlic your skin looks lovely in this photo, you don’t look 50 !
Thank you again everyone for posting. I’ve sort of given up looking at moment and been using Jane Iredale mineral loose powder make up as although I don’t sunbathe my skin has changed colour from being out in the sun and my usual foundation too light now. I got a sample of Jane Iredale and will start looking again in Autumn once my skin back to normal shade.

I use Max Factor for every day and Double Wear for special occasions. I find that using a cream blusher and Mac fixing spray makes the DW less matte looking/feeling.

Bit now wondering whether or not to rebut DW when this one is finished. I don't like the MF one much, as it disappears so quickly.

If you’re red faced the IT CC cream is amazing. I had a woman demo it on me in Boots a few years ago and have used it ever since.
