removing hair on fingers at home 😕

(thank God this is anonymous) as it says really; I have noticeable hair on fingers. on the lower parts on 4 fingers, not noticeable on index fingers or thumbs, I don’t want to shave-doesn’t work anyway, mini wax strips don’t seem to work-the wax stays on so doesn’t remove the hair- I’m totally fine waxing my upper lip by the way so I don’t think it’s my technique. epilator is too big and won’t grip the hair, I’ve bought those springy things which I thought would be IT but nothing Sad I’ve even just tried straight from shower with no anything like oils on my skin and they’re just not gripping the hair. I’ve got a big and small springy thing by the way. it’s actually getting me down now and I find it painful to pluck the hair with tweezers and that gets me down further- I’m fine with plucking toe hair but there’s less Confused I just don’t know what to do. Thanks

You're not alone, OP Blush I pluck mine - hurts to begin with but much easier after a few times. Putting some ice on the area first helps too, or doing it in the bath/after a shower when your skin is softer. I definitely find it the quickest and easiest way. Gets it over with quickly and I feel like less of a werewolf!

With my extremely hairy toes, I find that the wax doesn't work unless I trim it - otherwise the hair just kind of stretches and gets all gloopy, rather than ripping off cleanly. So I use an electric razor to trim it right down to a couple of mm and then use the wax, which clings a lot better. Maybe try something like that?

Alternatively, if it's really bothering you it might be worth investing in laser or similar?

I genuinely didn't realise people remove their toe and finger hair.

Laser?

I use mini wax strips, but I also get the wax left behind problem. I've found if I stick the strip on and then completely double back the end and pull it off holding it really close to the skin/back of the strip (much more so than when I do my face) then I get less left behind. And I know you're not supposed to, but any that's left with hair I stick the strip on again and do it twice.

I tried to do it with tweezers but it's just too bloody painful.

My hand/finger hair I just live with, it’s blonde. But my toes, oh my god. It’s yeti like. No way would I bare my feet in their natural state.

my hands and feet are pretty good and I’m a swimmer so the toe hair gets plucked lol

I recently bought myself the phillips lumea ipl machine for my hairy beat of a body and can't recommend it enough. I do my upper lip, hands, under arms, bikini line, and from my toes to my upper thighs. I'm 4 treatments in and it's made such an enormous difference I honestly think it's amazing. I had hands like a warewolf before I swear to God. No I have two or three small hairs, and thats only because they are growing by a large mole I have on the back of my right hand, so I can't flash that bit but they're quite fine and not noticeable except by me.
It wasn't cheap but honest to god it's been worth it's weight in gold and then some due to the fact I feel so much more confident about my body and body hair. I ummed and ahhed about getting one for years but wish I had bought one years ago. Brilliant little device.

My epilator works well everywhere. Wonder if you need a different shape?
