Fashionistas - I need a knock out dress...

...for a friend's wedding in December.

I am 5'11(love heels, so make that about 6'1 - DH is a big man, he can handle it!),a size 14 or 12 depending on where I shop, have got long slim legs, narrow hips, bit of a tum, big tits, decent-ish arms (don't mind them being on display).

I want something classy but sexy - I REALLY want to look knockout for this do. I probably have 1-2 days before the wedding to get the whole outfit (need shoes, bag, cover-up etc). Any suggestions?I'd like to be fashionable, you know, 'on trend', rather than wear one of those red-velvet-spangly-old woman-Xmas evening dressethingiemejigs iyswim :-)

Thanking you MASSIVELY in advance xxx

With a figure like yours I reckon you could wear an old table cloth and look amazing, lucky you! Whats your budget?

LoveAngelGabriel · 15/11/2007 16:13

Thank you! I look ok in clothes - naked it's all c-section overhang and cellulite, but nobody at the wedding needs to know that :-)...OK,budget...hmmm...well,I reckon £150 for the dress tops (cheaper if poss)...I wouldn't want to spend much more than £250 on the whole outfit. This is going to last me for a few weddings and 'do's' to come!

This is nice from Ted Baker:

www.tedbaker.com/shop.do?cID=673&pID=3350

and this is gorgeous but is black:

Like this but is the colour too bridal?
www.tedbaker.com/shop.do?cID=673&pID=2966 but they do it in black and gold too

This would not suit my colouring personally (would wash me out) but anyway:

certainly not old woman-spangly but maybe too cocktaily?
