And are going grey (or rather white) how have you dealt with this?

I have been alternating between full head colour including roots and occasional blonde foils (which inevitably wreck your hair).

I don't have enough white hair to go totally white, I'd say about 20%, but it's very concentrated around my temples (90%) and parting (50%).

There's no way I could just grow it out as it's just so patchy!

Please help ☹️

57 and just gradually went blonder so now I'm a proper strawberry blonde. Of my fully red haired family, mum has greys around temple and a streak in her fringe at 79, rest is still deep red, one sis has some grey but covers with highlights and one is just going a bit 'duller'. No help to you with covering it up though :-)

I am going white around my temples and some streaks through my parting. I have never coloured my hair and at 43 I have no intention of starting all that maintenance! My hair is a dark ginger, below shoulder length so I'm sure at some point it will become quite noticeable but I may just decide to have it cut shorter rather than colour

My natural colour is reddish golden-brown, I started going grey at 21 (now mid-30s). I've been colouring my hair as close as possible to my natural shade for years to hide the grey but recently switched to a more blonde colour as it makes the silvery re-growth less noticeable.

I’m starting to get the odd white hair more and more. I think I’ll just let nature take it’s course. Hopefully I’ll be the same as my mum and just fade into a soft white all over.

Mine is just getting blonder on top, but it sometimes feels a bit dull. I sometimes wonder whether to liven it up with blonde or red highlights but never know which. Good shampoo helps.

In our family we go towards a blonder/strawberry blonde look. Starting with highlights initially. Think Nicole Kidman.
