Anyone use a chiropodist

I have never been to a chiropodist but I think I need to make an appointment. My feet are so bad!! I've used foot repair cream, a pumice stone even a battery operated pumice and nothing seems to get rid of the hard skin ( sorry if you are eating at this moment!!) Will a chiropodist get rid of it? Are they very expensive? I just don't want to go into summer with disgusting feet 😂

Yes, a chiropodist or podiatrist will sort you out beautifully. 😁. No more disgusting feet! 😂

I go to the chiropodist every 6-8 weeks and have done for about 7 years now. I never thought I would but it actually started as a kind of social thing with my MIL and a group of her friends who had a mobile chiropodist come to one of their homes every 4 weeks and we had a "foot party" and then a fish & chip lunch Grin

Once mil moved a bit farther away I started going to a chiropodist based in my GP surgery I get my toe nails cut and trimmed any callouses and hard skin removed and a really nice foot massage with oils and creams. I love it! I pay £28 and its worth every penny.

As for hard skin/cracked heels I highly recommend CCS Cream - the type with Urea - chiropodists will recommended it and normally sell it but its a fraction of the price on Amazon - 1 tube usually lasts me a year.

Yes me! I need to make another appointment as have got out of the routine in the last 12 months.

I love it, hard skin removed, toe nails trimmed, corn dealt with. My feet look amazing afterwards and al for £28

I had one come to my house this week. Tidied nails and cuticles, thinned nails, removed dead skin, massage with cream.

£25

I used to go to a chiropodist but stopped and now use an electronic foot file (used to have the scholl rechargeable one and that was much better than a battery one. it died so got a similar thing from Amazon and it's even better and comes with three different heads)

Now I'm really on top of it and do it a few times a week and use cream nightly and stuff into slipper for it to sink in! it took ages to get then to a good place and they go quickly down hill especially If wearing sandals. I would recommend that you go to the chiropodist for your first treatment and then try to keep on top of it at home- six weeks would be far too long for me without any treatment.

If you’re on your feet all day an occasional visit is well worth it. When I worked full time I used to go three or four times a year. As others have said, looking after your feet between visits is a good idea.

Thanks all I didn't realize how reasonable it was with regards to price. I will make an appointment I'm pretty embarrassed about my feet but I'm sure they have seen worse so I need to get over that 🤣
