She's already a size 10 jeans. Any recommendations?

Watching for my DD who is the same, but from other threads I've seen, it does seem to be worth paying the extra for modibodi

My 15 year old daughter wears Wuku. She would recommend them.

I saw recently that m&s do them. Might be worth reading the reviews

Yikes. The modibodi ones are over £20 for just one of the heavy overnight ones!

I wonder how they compare with these ones from amazon:

Another vote for Wuka - we bought them in the sale at Sainsbury’s. Sainsbury’s also stock LoveLuna period pants, which are significantly cheaper, but never in stock when I’m visiting the store.

My daughters both have period pants. Mobi dobi and cheeky wipes. They are great. Initial cost high but then nothing on sanpro for years. They both have packs of five which are cheaper than buying individually. The eldest has had hers three years nearly!

I bought 14 yo DD some Blinx - they had an offer of 3pairs plus one free, came in at about £30. They are the 7-8 hours wear type.
Rapidly followed by another 4 pairs, and later some lesser cheaper ones. I think she prefers her original black blinx because the light colours show the blood and it offends her - she has ASD and is anxious.

I bought Bambody for dd2. The sporty hipsters for day wear and the black night time ones. It's stopped the night time leaks onto sheets. They're well made ,comfy & effective.

lookdeepintotheparka · 03/05/2021 18:47

My DD has the Amazon ones linked above. They're fine on their own for a lighter flow but she always wears with a pad as hers are extremely heavy. She likes the fact it gives her extra protection as some teachers won't let them go to the toilet in lessons (but that's a different issue!)

Miseryisabutterfly · 03/05/2021 19:19

@lookdeepintotheparka that makes me angry!

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 03/05/2021 19:26

Modibodi. Expensive but so worth it.

Daughter is 10.5 and loves the Cheeky Wipes boy shorts. She’s in the 8 (the 6 being a bit tight around the leg for all day wear). (She’s almost 5’ tall and a 6-8 in adult clothes.)

25% off until midnight tonight - £9 a pair.
