How to conceal female hair loss?

Until last year, I had always had hugely thick Caucasian hair, which I had always worn very long. About a year ago, though, I lost a huge amount due to stress (and maybe perimenopause?) and it is now noticeably thinner and am feeling rather self-conscious.

Any ideas what I do? Am open to all forms of cut, style, colour

Cant suggest anything op sorry ,but I'm following as in the same situation after a coma in November.
I've always had very thick black curly hair that I dread brushing or washing as I am horrified at the amount that comes out .
Have you booked into a hairdresser?
I'm going next week hopefully they will have some suggestions .

I have mid brown hair and I have it highlighted regularly - the lighter colour means my scalp is less obvious. However I also worry the highlights are damaging to my hair! I’m on HRT but I haven’t really noticed much on an improvement.

I use hair fibers along my parting and other thin spots. Just sprinkle them on, use a fixing spray and they stay put all day and usually all night.

Dry shampoo might be good for making more volume.
An ex hairdresser told me that bleach would make hair look thicker because it makes the cuticle swell. It is damaging though.
