Hair removal cream to clean hairbrush

Ok so I know this sounds bonkers, but could you use hair removal cream to clean a hairbrush? Has anyone done it?

I have long very thick hair and hairbrushes always go a bit minging, obviously I pull loose hair out as much as possible but still end up with these fluffy little bits wrapped around each individual bristle.

Could I use hair removal cream?? I don’t want my hair to fall out Grin

Euch...I wouldn't Confused

Just take it in the shower with you and clean with shampoo!

Hair removal cream won't dissolve the hair. It makes it come out at the root. So you'll just have a sticky hairbrush

Try nail cutting scissors to cut the bits of hair that get stuck on bristles

You can get a bristley tool for cleaning the hair out, then you just need to wash it with shampoo.

Hair removal cream might damage the hairbrush eg change the texture from shiny to matte, so I wouldn’t try it.

I normally use a fine comb to remove hair from my brushes before shampooing them which gets rid of the stragglers

Thanks all, in hindsight this was clearly a ridiculous idea Grin

It’s less the hairs themselves and the weird fluffy bits that wrap around the plastic bristles Envy

@Voice0fReason that looks good! I use a wetbrush so perfect!

They are a nightmare nods head sagely , but you'll be surprised how quickly they come away when washed

The cleaning tool takes care of those bits too. It's honestly brilliant.
