Best hair cut for large forehead

I have a substantial forehead and small eyes which makes it worse. I was told I couldn’t have a heavy fringe because my hair is ‘stubborn’ Hmm always had one as a child but hey.

What else can I do?

SameToo yes, I just roughle it over my forehead when its wet and it just dries. Sometimes I blow dry it, sometimes I don't. I have very coarse wavy hair and if I want big curls I leave it to dry, and sometimes I might have to blow dry my fringe, sometimes I don't have to. Its quite heavy and thick, but its slightly feathered out to each side so I can style it straight, or heavy and to the side. I've kept it quite long but short enough to wear a full fringe. I cut it myself because the hairdresser can't, or won't do as I've asked. I was told I have a double crown, but I also had a problem with my fringe not wanting to lie forward, my hair wanting to stick up from the roots. I think its just finally given in against my perseverance.

Why not give it a go, hair grows, what's the worst that can happen Smile

@MiniTheMinx thank you 😊 I think I’ll go for it. I guess I can hide it if needed. I look a mess as it is, I doubt anyone would notice if I had a haywire fringe 😂

Try Googling 'curtain fringe' or 'curtain bangs'
A bit softer and great if you have a mid parting

I've got a big forehead and every few years I think it would be a good idea to get a fringe and every single time I regret it. Mine is wavy and while I can blow dry it straight, the merest hint of humidity in the air and it springs into curls. It's also a pain when staying away from home in places where there aren't hairdryers, relatives houses, camping etc.

@EventuallyDistracted that is my worry!

@StormBaby

I ever wildly between very short blunt fringe, side swept long fringe, and no fringe. My hair eventually does as it’s told. You just blow dry the fringe each day
exactly - done all those. blow drying the fringe is second nature.

I now have a slight side fringe which helps with the large forehead part.

This happens whether its blunt, longer/sideswept or whatever. Wearing hats is also a disaster for mine, especially in summer when you get hot. My current fringe is down to my mouth now (pre-lockdown cut) and I either clip it back on it's own on top of my head for more height or leave it loose.

I don't understand why people feel the need to hide a big forehead, I love the look of a big forehead. I think if you embrace it, it can be really striking. So many models and actresses have a large forehead.
