Easy (lazy) fake tan for legs

cherrypiepie · 24/04/2021 08:18

I haven't used fake tan for years ( it was quite good but hard work no7 spray can one) but would love my legs to look a little less blue-white so I can wear midi skirts without tights.

Thinking something non streaking and last a while or a gradual tan I do ever other day?

Via liberata stuff is good.

FloralJammies · 24/04/2021 08:22

I’ve been using Bondi Sands gradual tanning milk which doesn’t streak and I can build up the colour. I got it from Look Fantastic here

Bondi sands look just the ticket! Pump, goes on bronze, non streaking, big bottle and good price point!

And I like the colour. It doesn’t go orangey ☺️

I like gradual tanners but the colour is often too golden or warm for my complexion... I’m fair with cool ( blue / red) undertones.

cherrypiepie · 24/04/2021 08:58

@Divebar2021 I get so confused with working out my colouring. I think I have warm rosy undertones (wear warm beige or warm ivory or nw20 foundation) and lost of foundations look too yellow on me but I have no idea!

@cherrypiepie

I was “diagnosed” by someone on a make up counter years ago. I think there’s something about blue veins and green veins. I have pale blue eyes. I suit cool colours like navy, grey and olive green and silver jewellery look crappy in warm tones like oranges and camel.

EllaPaella · 24/04/2021 09:21

Bondi sands gradual tanner or the dove gradual tan are my favourites and I've tried so many. Both of these give a natural non orange look and don't go patchy after a shower.

gingercat02 · 24/04/2021 09:24

The drops you put in your usual body lotion are great as you can adjust the shade to suit you. Lots of them can go in facial moisturiser too

Cocolapew · 24/04/2021 09:26

I'm using Solait 10 minute tan from Superdrug, though I keep it on overnight.
I like it because it's brown out of the bottle so I can put it on more evenly.

borntobequiet · 24/04/2021 10:31

I use the Dove self tanning moisturiser weekly from September onwards and it keeps my legs looking slightly tanned until I can get some proper sunlight on them.

cherrypiepie · 24/04/2021 11:52

Thanks everyone - I'm getting some dove today and when I go to a proper shop will get some bondi sands as find deliveries such a hassle!

I have white / mottled legs. I think the Dove in 'dark' looks more suntan-like (same with all gradual tans actually). The lighter ones just give my legs a jaundiced look.

lindyloo57 · 24/04/2021 17:27

I've been using st tropez gradual tan for the face for 5 days straight, its rubbish, it give me no colour at all, it is the light one, maybe I needed the dark one, I will just use it up on my legs and try something else.

EdinaMonsoon · 24/04/2021 17:30

I love St Tropez original mousse. I was pretty daunted the first time I used it, worried I would look rather Oompah Loompah like but it's perfect. Good guide colour making application a doddle. The final result is fantastic - very natural with zero streaks. Every gradual tanner I have ever used either ends up patchy/streaky or somewhat orange.
