Invisalign when older

Has anybody had Invisalign but with dodgy teeth - crowns, fillings etc? I'm older than the average customer I'm sure and my teeth bear the marks of growing up in the 80s. I'm told by the dentist that it doesn't matter but I'd rather hear from those that have done it!

@PatrickBatemann 6 months would be amazing! Were yours not too crooked?

I had top teeth done in my 60s. Very pleased with result. I would say its inconvenient wearing them for 22 hours a day but worth it. When I look back at old photos I'm so glad I had it done!

Not awful - but I did have a 6mm overbite which was my main reason for getting them! One of my front teeth stuck out a little bit more than the other one too, and now they sit flush and nice! Bottom teeth weren't too bad, but I could see they were slowly starting to get a bit crooked (never had braces as a child). I had just had enough one day, and after a morning spent crying over my teeth, I booked the consultation!

I had mine done two years ago at 37. I have quite a few fillings and the overlap of my front two teeth was quite obvious.
I'd say definitely worth it. I was drinking through straws but you just get used to that. Went on holiday with them to mexico and was taking them in and out in dodgy restaurants, again, it was a must so you just get on with it!
The only thing I wasn't expecting (lack of knowledge on my part) was the attachments that were put onto my teeth for the aligners to attach too, they weren't as 'invisible' as I'd expected.
Also, be aware of the aftercare to wear retainers every night after to prevent teeth shifting back. I find i take double the normal time to brush my teeth every night but I'd still do it again. I can now bare looking at photos without cringing at my teeth!!!

I had mine done this year. I was unhappy with the bottom front teeth but what they've actually done is fix my whole bite. I used to get food stuck in my teeth and that never happens now. I'm so pleased with the results.
The trays are a bit of a faff but I did mine whilst I've been working from home which helped a lot.
