Toast style without the Toast price tag?

I really like the simplicity of Toast clothing but I simply can’t afford to spend £150 on one dress or shirt unless I was going to wear it every day for weeks! Is there anywhere else that does a similar style in natural fabrics at a lower price point?

I’m thinking boxy pinafores, midi skirts, smock dresses...

Muji or COS.

I'm sure someone will be al;ong to suggest some other brands. I'm replying because, like you, they are far too expensive for me but the redeeming feature is that they do have good and genuine sales. The dresses are too big and long for me but I have lots of Toast knitwear and tops, plus a denim shirt that were not expensive at all as I keep my eyes open for reductions all the time. Theother very expensive brand I buy is Brora, they cashmere is top quality but not reduced to affordable levels for me in the sales but the dresses and tops are fierely price cut. There is a very nice yelow and black check dress for £69 at the moment andI had some lovely dark green brogues for £50 instead of £150. Not as plain and understated as Toast but great quality.

Cos
Arket (awesome sales)
Some Uniqlo
Some of the more neutral Lucy and Yak
Kin by John Lewis

Some Seasalt stuff is Toast-like. They use a lot of natural fibres.

If you shop carefully you can find good pieces on H&M website. Search for natural fabrics or their premium range. Also Cos sales, Kin at John Lewis.

Ebay or Depop both have lots of Toast on there. Arket, COS, Uniqlo (as mentioned above) also Plumo and Olive Clothing.

Also if you get to the John Lewis sale early you can get some amazing bargains.

Plumo has some lovely things, but I think they're more expensive by and large than Toast.

John Lewis Toast sales are worth watching. eBay has loads of Toast, some people sell after a season or two and it's pretty timeless.
Agree with Cos, Kin, some Seasalt, Uniqlo and also thought clothing is natural fibres, linen and bamboo
